The common bond is the link which binds the members of a Credit Union Together - Our common bond contains 12 different electoral wards. Keep reading to see how you can become a member today.
To open an adult account, simply call into the credit union office and bring one document from each of the headings below:
Photographic Identification
Current valid passport
Valid driving license
Electoral identity card
National identity card
Home address verification
Government issued documentation such as from, Land and Property Services, HMRC or Social Security Agency
Current statement from a regulated financial institution e.g. bank or insurance provider
Current utility bill
If you work in the common bond, but do not live in the common bond bring one of the following:
Proof of employment
Pay slip clearly showing your employer
P60 tax statement
Letter from your employer on headed paper confirming that you are employed by them and on what basis (full-time, part-time, sub-contractor, etc)
To open a junior account, simple call into the credit union office and bring the following documents:
Birth certificate or passport for the child
and
Proof of address for parent/guardian
Government issued documentation such as from, Land and Property Services, HMRC or Social Security Agency
Current statement from a regulated financial institution e.g. bank or insurance provider
Current utility bill
All junior accounts must be opened by a parent / guardian and if the child is aged 7 or over, they are also required to sign the application form.
Ballinascreen Credit Union accepts Corporate and Community Members which includes limited companies, partnerships, registered charities and unincorporated associations.
